Discussion of Mission by Philip Spires

Dear Jake
I am the author and I am dropping by. Thanks very much for the listing and I do hope that my book will not disappoint anyone who reads it. I wouldn't have published if I was not both proud of the book and also confident that it has something to say. It's a serious book which I hope will be a thoroughly engaging read. It's about the conflict between individualism and collectie identity, and I record here my debt, in the last of the five sections, to a book on African religion and philosophy by John S Mbiti. The main theme is that of cultural relativism - and perhaps its consequences. Makes it sound a laugh a minute, doesn't it? It's a good book!
