Another true story of a pioneering family in Kenyas early settler days. The tales of daily daring do and the insight into the various tribes that come through Elsbeth's young life are wonderful and make it a great read for young girls about to visit Kenya. The images are strong and the child's eye is true. It was made into a movie starring Hayley Mills and it shot at my friends the Craigs ranch at Lewa Downs
